The Visual Effects Professionals Guild of New Zealand (VFXG) is a non-profit organisation established to represent a growing industry of VFX professionals throughout New Zealand.

The Guild’s objective is to foster innovation and excellence in a vibrant domestic community, to enrich creativity, promote education and provide trusted advocacy for a sustainable industry that is pushing the boundaries of visual effects on the world stage.

SIWA

The Screen Industry Workers Act (SIWA) is a new framework that changes the way workers contract within the screen industry. It comes into force on December 30th, 2022, and required collective bargaining with respect to minimum level working conditions and benefits, a safety net that will apply to all productions.
